The first post in the new Astro version of the site.

This is the first post in the rebuilt site.

The goal is to keep things small, readable, and easy to update without turning the homepage into a giant blob of links.

A few choices behind this version:

• posts live in Markdown
• pages live in Markdown too
• images sit in Cloudflare R2 under a custom domain
• the whole site stays static and simple to deploy on Cloudflare Pages
